Blurgh fed up of leaking boots, tis ok when the weather is warmer but tonight after proper soaking I'm at home considering putting the heating on!!!!!!! :o::eek::eek::eek:: as my feet are frozen!!!

I need some dry boots - don't want to go into winter wellies (just had to re-type that as spell check spelt out WILLIES!! :D) just yet as they are heavy neoprene lined affair and it is only September!!

Looking for muck boot type - not Woof as they are NOT waterproof - or country boots. They will be used for general yard work, not riding, MUST be waterproof ;) have reasonable budget for good recommendations!!

Spend my money - do your worst :p

muck boot company boots! ive had mine years, theyre still in great condition other than a small almost-hole where i stabbed them with a fork but i cant fault them for that and they still dont leak!

i have a pair of steel toe capped builders boots...bought from sports direct for £20
very dry unless totally submerged in water
steel cap saved me many times
fits well and doesnt wriggle around on the foot!

they have lasted me 1 1/2 years....but i wouldnt really expect any more when i wear them everyday of the week!!!!

I have these as well, they're Dunlops. Not very feminine but great in all weathers. They're ankle boots rather than long boots but were superb in the snow last year and I never had cold feet.

I have a pair of shires neoprene muck boots. This is their third of fourth winter now! They have thin soles (always have) so come September I pop a pair of foam inserts into them and then I layer normal socks with thermal socks. My feet stay lovely and warm. I find the boots very comfortable and they are still waterproof I have yet to get wet feet.

Ariat! Or if they are just for spring/autumn, go to your nearest Go Outdoors/Millets etc and grab a decent pair of hiking boots :)
