I'm in Yorkshire and we have had sooo much rain recently. My field is really wet and is bubbling and gurgling although I don't have any large areas of standing water.
My question is, how do I manage the field? I only have two acres and on that I keep a 16.1 TB and 2 miniature shetlands as companions. At the moment I have got the field split up into sections and I keep the shetlands in a separate bit from my big horse. The problem is the shetlands as they are so greedy they eat everything so I currently have them in a small paddock which is now just a mud bath.
I am reluctant to give them the whole field in case they make the whole lot muddy. I do have the opporunity to use the neighbours land for grazing too but then they would have access to about 100 acres so not ideal!
