Advice please. I bought a lovely new mobile shelter in the summer. Now we have had a fair bit of rain the ground inside is really wet. Im pretty sure the roof is not leaking so think maybe the rain is blowing in? Im going to move it round to hopefully stop this. Has anyone else had this problem?

Look at prevalent wind direction for the area and place rear of shelter in that direction. Does it have a good overhang? If it's permanent, you could dig a trench in front and fill with hardcore with Mudcontrol mats on top so rain can drain down rather than going into F.S.

Mine is on a slight incline and with the amount of rain we’ve had, it is running under the sides and into the shelter.

Mine is wet just because the ground around it is saturated and so it is just percolating through. Plus three of them think it’s the best place to pee!

It has a reasonable overhang. Its mobile so not really able to dig a trench.

Possibly just the fact that the ground around ut is sodden so water will work its way up. I put 20cm of type 2 inside mine with rubber mats on top, that fixed it, but not cheap.

Normally the rain comes from the west for us but the rain for the last week has been from the east. I have lots of wet bits that aren't normally wet. I would make any changes too quickly as it maybe a one off.
