Has anyone done a Warmblood fragile foal syndrome test through hair follicles (rather than bloods with the vet)?

If so, who did you use (UK based), and were you happy with the service. (bonus if the same place offers PSSM1 testing).

Thank you

My mare's sire is a carrier, so I was going to get her tested and would have used Animal Genetics (based in Cornwall) who offer the services you've asked about. In the end, I didn't bother as the stallion I wanted to use was clear.

Tested mine through Animal Genetics and ran a colour panel at the same time, process was very easy, pluck hairs making sure root is intact then put in a zip-lock bag and mail off, I got the results back super quickly as they email them to you. I believe they also do PSSM1 testing but maybe don't quote me on that
