What’s going on with these ears

One thing I love about cec is how expressive he is.
He does this with his ears when he’s unsure about something.
What does it mean? Fear? Just unsure? Do we avoid this situation for ever more?

Or is he ok (one ear forward, sort of) a little unsure (other ear)

He is gorgeous I’d say from the photo he is OK, just reflecting on his situation and making sure with one ear that you are still keeping him safe

I hope. He’s done it several times in new situations and I *think he’s ok but equally think I should get him out of the situation. This particular time it worked out all fine as there was a hog roast at the destination and they kept over filling the rolls. He acted as floor cleaner and was pretty happy by the end of the day.
