Cobbo 10 years old probably worth 5 - 6k dodgy hocks which have needed some help in the past but schooled to medium level and sound . Very safe . Jumps 70 with me (my limit these days who knows if its his!)

Ish - less than meat money — more problems than solutions- a lawn mower is a much better buy.

2 x dutch warmblood 2 year olds - one very smart both have great dressage breeding but the smaller of the two screams eventer at me( happily jumps from paddock to paddock (unbidden) and is scared of nothing) i guess the big smart girl is possibly worth 20 - 40 and the eventer type about 15… but id only sell them if people came knocking with 50+ as i hope that they will eventually be my foundation mares… but if someone offered me a lot i might think about selling one or both of them. Cobbo less so — hes very useful to me

The mule is probably worth a few k as novelty value but she is also quite a useful, safe little allrounder. She’s not for sale at any price because she’s my pet.

Ridden mules are getting popular/expensive in America, a mare (? I forget mule terminology) just sold at auction for $49,000. What happens over there usually ends up here and perhaps a gap in the export market ? (not your mule, but producing others like her)

been made a few decent offers for the 7yo, both as a ridden pony and breeding stallion but realistically it would have to be house money to make me even consider it!

the 4yo i paid more for than i have paid for any horse in the last 15 years (purely due to market) and now backed and riding nicely he is probably worth only a couple of K more.

However again, someone would have to offer mid 6 figures to actually buy him as they are both simply invaluable to me-easy going ponies, that are easy to keep, easy to ride and easy breeders.
I could replace with something not so kind or genuine or easy and end up gelding and selling again.

lack of stress/drama is worth more than £

My Arab is 29 and has been retired for 6 or 7 years now. I've had her for 20 years, since I was 11 and she was 8 coming up 9. In monetary terms, she can't be worth more than about 50p, but someone could offer me millions and I wouldn't part with her. I'm the same about our cat, I just adore him so much!
