What 5yr old Dressage are they?

Hi,

Just trying to get my head around all the 5yr old classes for dressage, young horse, young horse international, FEI young horse and hickstead young horse!

Any advice for going for any of these competitions please?

What sort of advice are you looking for? Sorry your question isnt very clear! Generally for each of these competitions there are a number of venues that run qualifiers, get your qualification and off you go!

You'd prepare for these competitions as you would any other dressage comp, but keeping in mind that these competitions are going to be full of professional riders with very fancy horses so you will have stiff competition compared to the typical mix of amateurs and pro's you get at a standard BD competition.
