Beastie dog went to get clipped today as my friend is training to be a groomer and asked if she could use her as practise. Of course I agreed 
However, when she was there the girl who trains my friend asked what age Beastie is and when told 9 years old (she'll be 10 in May) she was utterly shocked and said she had her closer to 2 or 2.5 at a very push. She then went on to say how well cared for she must be etc and what a lovely little dog she is
Friend from the yard also met her for the first time last week and thought she was abput 2/3 years old
Friend done an amazing job grooming her and I would post a picture but Beastie has retired to her bed and approaching her earned me the look of death that you are all familiar with so I quickly retreated
