Im building up the courage to do this race in March and I was looking through last years pictures to inspire me and I just love this photo! :D What a pony!

That hedge is about 3"6 i believe....

Time for me to man up!

haha looks like the horse has been cut out and placed over there! either that of he has invisable wings? how the hell!?!? what a good shot by the person doing the photos! :)

I keep looking at it and laughing, just a brilliant little pony loving what its doing.

Yes - its generally the most exciting thing the Isle of Wight has to offer so its usually fairly well covered.

I hope she's here this year to get a frame by frame of me falling off ;);)

Yes there was a group of three of them doing it it in pink and in head collars for breast cancer awareness! I dont think they are allowed to do it again though as there were a lot of complaints

It's the "Bridleless not brainless" lot isn't it?

The ruling changed so they must compete “in a bridle with reins directly attached to a bit… or a purpose-designed bitless bridle”.

So they are getting pink bitless bridles made and have changed their name to "B*llocks but still bitless"

Im suprised they arent all wearing body protectors, to team chase and xc here you have to wear a BP.

Looks fun though! I want to have a go. When is it? x
 
I was there last year - watching. I had a great time, but I think entering is not for the faint hearted.

The pink team caused quite a stir but they lost their race.

If you want to go your pony needs to be clipped, fit and you need to be able to stick on like glue.

I wish I was brave enough ....

24th March this year :)

They are compulsive as far as I'm aware, I wear mine under my coloured shirt so maybe they're just not visable? It would be madness to go without one...

Can't wait!
 
It really is a great day out - especially if its as sunny as it was last year!

First race starts at 12. Theres 5 in total and a hunts parade round the course as well. Theres a wicked hog roast tent, a betting tent and (my favourite ;)) a beer tent.

It good fun sitting on the grass all day with a picnic, a beer and a group of mates!
