Unfortunately, many youngsters today do not know the difference between right and wrong and consequently, have no regard whatsoever for "the victim".

I agree ^^^ it is completely frightening. Some people have no idea how to parent and so it goes on down the line and down the line............etc.

Be worried, be very worried, as I feel it will only get worse.

Dorris,I also feel sad that I think you are right.
Only 20 years ago when I was a child a forgetten thankyou was unheard of-now people look at my son as if he is something odd for please and thankyous.
Parents wont teach them,schools cant teach them-what on earth will become of these children when they grow up?
 
it is awful and I agree some children are out of control through non existent parenting. However, there are some fab children and teenagers out there too.

My one question though is if they have attacked the little girl before, why, at only 5 years old, was she outside of adult supervision?

Poor little girl though, as if she doesn't have enough to contend with. I have no idea what even leads children of this age to THINK of these things to do.
