I have had the best day today - so please excuse the self indulgent post!
TBH it started in the early hours of this morning - village pub has a beer festival on - and didn't leave the pub til 2am - very merry and happily wobbily but not excessively drunken!
Then was up bright and breezy this morning to load my girly up and take her over to ride with my friend. This was the first time I had done anything like this, and a first for her to be ridden in strange company. She was SUCH a star - and was on her very best babysitting behaviour for my friends slightly spooky pony.
Then came home to find mum and dad back home with our new puppy - a standard schnauzer called Henry! He is such a dude! (Sorry no pics on my laptop yet - but I can assure you that he is very cool!)
Then this afternoon I did some work with my 3yo - and got nice calm responsive lunging, and then he walked around a little with me lay over him. Cue very proud mummy of the ickle scaredy cat arab!!!
And finally a friend of ours has just GIVEN - FOR FREE!!!!! - us 35 bales of his last years cut of hay!!
Very happy me - oh and the weather was bloody handsome too!
