What a fecking idiot...

Ok so he is an idiot BUT in this day of litigation we live in, IF he had been hurt by the horse, could he sue the owner?
Food for thought, any legal buffs out there to enlighten me??
Oz :)

Agree the guy is an idiot and just trying to show off to his friends but I doubt the horse was harmed much. Shame horse didnt manage to kick the guy.

Police wouldnt do anything about that I dont think. And if the guy did get hurt I doubt he could sue unless he was on a public right of way through the field which looks unlikely. He shouldnt have been in the field let alone terrorising the horses.

Ughh, that's right nearby me. I'd hate to think of someone doing that to my horse, although they'd never get near my mare.

what a moron. if i ever found out someone was doing that to my horses i'd go mental at them, they wouldn't be able to try that again. his mates are just as bad as him.

they seem to think they are 'well ard' when in fact they are just stupid little kids.

I've heard but not sure how true it is, that even if someone is on your land uninvited and hurts themselves or is hurt by one of your animals, you are liable. It's like the burgulars who has successfully sued the householder as they have fallen over in the dark and hurt themselves whilst robbing them, stupid but I think it's true. The insurance would probably cover it if they had any, Oz :)
