Agree the guy is an idiot and just trying to show off to his friends but I doubt the horse was harmed much. Shame horse didnt manage to kick the guy.
Police wouldnt do anything about that I dont think. And if the guy did get hurt I doubt he could sue unless he was on a public right of way through the field which looks unlikely. He shouldnt have been in the field let alone terrorising the horses.

I've heard but not sure how true it is, that even if someone is on your land uninvited and hurts themselves or is hurt by one of your animals, you are liable. It's like the burgulars who has successfully sued the householder as they have fallen over in the dark and hurt themselves whilst robbing them, stupid but I think it's true. The insurance would probably cover it if they had any, Oz
