What a joke

It's a technicality and nothing more. The horse has multiple passports and they can only issue a height cert against one...

Especially as there seems to be identity issues as well.

Nothing new about this. Has happend for years. Back in the late '70's a 14.2hh show pony that was for sale for over a year but not sold due to an extortionate price tag low and behold appeared a year later (as a 9 yr old!!!) in Small Hacks measuring in at 14.3hh. So was it over height for ponies all the time, or under height for hacks???

In the 80's a 14.2hh show pony similarly sold and dissapeared off the face of the earth only to re-appear sporting a new white sock and smaller star???

A large hack went off the scene for a few years only to come back with a new birth date making it 4 yrs younger. So it in that case a yearling when it first was placed in the Large Hack of the Year at Wembley??? Still have the RHIS and HOYS catalogues from the time showing the discrepancy in the DOB's.

Ditto 2 well known large hacks after years of mutterings about height FINALLY the JMB dared to approach the "faces" who produced them and both measured out - not just a bit, but one by a massive 2 1/2 inches.

Has always happend, will always happen. And all this was before passports but even passports are not beyond the boundaries for those who do what they will to get around "issues".
