i havent been to my horse since sunday (i work and my friend whos horse is in next field feeds/rugs/de ices trough puts hay out etc) any way yesterday i came down with tonsilitis my friend text me yesterday and said dont worry ill sort your boy out for you, you stay in bed.

she then text me today saying shes fed him put hay out de iced troughs checked rug etc n also has poo picked!! im so emotional from no sleep and feeling pants i burst into (happy) tears!! there was nearly 4 days worth!! i thanked her and thanked her (i was going to drag myself down to my boy in morning) but shes told me off and said NO she will sort him for me!!

think a nice xmas present is in order as cant thank her enough!!

I have a similar friend, who on sunday morning text me to day leave a list of what needs doing to put Leo to bed and I'll sort him for you so you dont have to come back to the yard :) bless her, not only has she fractured her arm, her own horse is on full livery! She wouldnt take no for an answer, amazing when you find people like this :D
 
You're very lucky!

Have a good rest and get yourself recovered! Great to know your horse is being so well taken care of in your absence
 
i am so lucky normally doesnt matter how poorly i am i still go to the yard but i moved him to my friends a few months ago best decision!! xx
 
I have a friend like this and I'm also 'that' friend as well. She is awesome and bends over backwards to help me and vice versa :D

Your friend sounds like she is going to get something lovely for Xmas.

This is so lovely to hear. There are not many people like this lady about. Most people will say oh I haven't got time!!! She's one worth looking after.
 
dont worry guys she knows she can also rely on me its just so lovely to have someone to help me for a change as at old yard it was always me helping others lol love this girl to bits!! x
