Well, the freelance groom who helps with some of the horses on our yard was watching me and the P jump the other day and mentioned how well we were doing but was confused why there were straw bales and buckets everywhere!

Well, we have 4 blocks and 6 poles so to much more than 2 jumps you need to get creative (which is fine).

2 days later- she has acquired me a full set of proper showjumps which I just need to pick up, for no pennies at all!!!

She also freelances at a Grand Prix showjumpers yard who has recently upgraded all her kit and wants to see her old course go to a good home.

RESULT!!!!

(I am, however, pretty sure P wont be as pleased)

That is really kind to hear that someone is so thoughtful for a change!
Well done you and enjoy and show us the pics!

I know its great and she's a bit of a local celebrity so its great that she has remembered we all start somewhere!

And who knows, 1 day me and the P could end up jumping against her (bet she would claim the jumps back then!!!)

Will a nice bunch of flowers be winging her way as a thank you?
It'd be a nice gesture and wouldn't cost you a fortune :)

Yep flowers for the generous donation and a morning off for the groom (well she can spectate while I muck out her charges! She has very exacting standards)
