Sorry everyone but just had to share the lovely day i have had!
Got up earlyish (8) to meet up with 3 girls at the yard to go for a walk round the roads. Its the first time my yongster had been on the roads so took some quiet freinds for him (3x 11handers and a shetland!)
Anyway we went in the middle as we left but after 5 mins ended up leading as he walks so much faster than the others (he is 17hands!) and he was a total star! We ended up going all th way around the block which took an hour, meeting lorries, fields of loose horses etc and he took it all in his stride!
Whenever he was uncertian he just stopped look then carried on.
So very pleased with Goli today!
When we got back decided to ride Hazzle and jumped properly for the first time since the snow and he popped very nicely over a couple on 1.20m spreads!
All in all had a lovely day and the sun shone the entire time!
