Most of you know all about the horrid one (I post about him alot 
) But I thought it was about time I gave my other pony Merryn some credit. We've had Merryn since 2nd october. I took him on as he had had Lami in June and his owner was no longer able to cope with him, but between oct and Dec he was only sound for about 2 weeks. The poor boy had 3 foot abcesses in a row. 
With only afew days soundness inbetween.
In the new year we made the desition to put front shoes on him and he has been sound ever since. This weekend we had the OHs kids (He was ment to be for them to ride as Horrid just isn't safe enough). He had had Fri and Sat off but E wanted to ride on Sun. It was sooooo windy and I was a little worried he may be wound up but E didn't want to ride in the school as last time she did she had a wobble and thought she was going to fall off.
I reluctantly agreed that I would take her out in the forest. She was alittle worried as the insedent in the school was the last time she rode. But Merryn was a star and as you can see she loved her ride.
He realy looked after her and didn't put a foot wrong despite all the wind. When we got back he stood and let her groom him (Well the bits she could reach anyway 
)
He realy is a super pony she leads him around and crawls all over him and he just stands there and lets her get on with it.
He seems to know he has to look after her because he's not boring with me
He realy is a fantastic pony and i'm so glad he found his way to us. (Now I have horrid all to myself )
