This is the first time i have heard about this place in leeds, but i heard about it on the radio, and not only do they stock doggy products, they also stock dogs! :O If i was buying a dog, i'd rather meet the breeder, wouldnt you? Oh, and if you check their website (http://www.dogs4us.com/puppysales.asp) I'd be interested to see what is included in their "6 Month Guarantee" on pups includes

(apologies if this is normal in the dog world!)

This is certainly not normal in the dog world, im disgusted and feel awful for any puppy bred by these money grabbing b*****ds. I've emailed them in disgust and contacted the RSPCA and Dogs Trust to see if theres anything they can do, unfortunately I doubt there will be.

how can they possibly have 36 different breeds in 'stock'. it's like they are dealing with tins of beans or something!
So do they buy litters from puppy farms and sell them on?

RSPCA not replied as yet, only just emailed them after I saw this thread. dont think they will be able to do anything, but I wanted them to be aware of these people.

In this country i had hoped we where a bit more sensible about the way animals should be sold. I think selling animals of any description in a shop is a bit wrong to say the least, but especially an animal that needs the amount of work a dog does. this will only encourage idiots to buy a cute puppy on impulse then realise they havent got time for it. then it becomes the rspca or dog trusts problem, or more likely poor pup will be riddled with illness, as people breeding on this scale are not doing so for happy healthy dogs, its pure profit, they dont care and it'll result in heartbreak for said stupid puppy buyers.

sorry to go on but this really annoys me!

Why do they insist on dressing the dogs up in those ridiculous jumpers? I'm fairly sure labradors at least have enough hair and fat to keep them warm!!!
That says it all about who they are trying to sell to...

I hate the way animals are treated like cars or dishwashers with 6 month warranties. People should be buying animals for the love of the animal, not the convenience of it not going wrong or getting ill!!!

And (finally) aren't there enough staffies in rescue centres without more people breeding them - I looked on local RSPCA website the other day and nearly 80% of the dogs were staff's.
