it has been one of those awful stessy day's today....hubby's first pay didnt go through and was relying on that to get mare moved to her new house....aswell as other things today that caused me to be all stressy...I ended up moving Minnie at 5pm tonight, so had no time to clean her old stable or paddock out, so will have to go back tomorrow and finish this off....
Got to old yard and fell up the side steps loading stuff into living...ouchie!!!, my sis in law got her all ready for journey, whilst my hubby loaded her heavy feed bins into lorry, she at first refused to load....something she has never ever done, so small smack on bum with leadrope - through her rug and she just ran up, think she was testing me, she's as good as gold all the time, so eventually we get going to get just round corner of new yard and theirs a census going on...doh but thankfully nice policeman that was there let us go through without stopping, so was not in mood to have been stopped.
We got to new yard, have no idea where any of my stuff was going and now I find out that there's not that much storage space, I have a lot of stuff as still got all Merlins stuff too..ended up with me getting her a nice big haynet, filling her water bucket up whilst sis in law walks her to get some grass, got her dinner ready when I found my scoop to do the speedibeet, then couldn't figure out the hose...it's a weird attachtment, got there in end.
Anyway, amongst all the 'Oh my god what have I done?' she is in her new stable enjoying the haynet munching away, looking extreamly relaxed and unfazzed by everything, she was still shouting for her dinner...so thats all good.
Shame I have to go to work tomorrow as would like to be there sorting stuff out and being with her.
Don't really know why I'm posting this, just needed to get it off my chest...there has been other things today that have really upset me but hey ho it's life!
Sorry all for my little stupid pointless post, but moving your horse is sooo stressful I hate it, the yard is lovely though so I'm sure it'll be OK.
