Just doing some shameless google image searching (as you do) and came across this beauty! Not sure if he's been posted before but WOW!:eek::eek:

I'm sure that many forum users will have missed the old threads, so I'm sure that they'll enjoy looking at him. :) He's a silver dapple, not a grey.

will he loose his colouring and go 'white'? or stay with the dapple coat?

IIRC he is called Austin and he's in the USA.

He will stay that colour as he is not grey, so wont grey out. His colour is caused by the silver dapple gene (he has tobiano and sabino too by the looks of it).

Pretty boy isn't he?

He is the subject of long running discussions by us colour geeks in NA, his picture frequently gets bought up as Faracat says.:)

Hehe he is the same colour as my old mare, I never really thought much of her (we didn't get on). Perhaps I should have rated her a bit more highly.... I'll try and find a pic! She was definitely not as pretty as this chap though!

If he's not going to grey out, how come his coat is getting lighter? (presuming he is younger in the video than in the pics above where he is much lighter and more dappled).

Summer v winter coat?

Stinkbomb on here has a mini SD and his dapples show more clearly when he's clipped and polished for shows.
