Some of you may remember the brood mare that Halfpass and I had on loan, we ended up giving her back to the owner as it was unlikely she would ever get in foal very easily if at all

She can't be ridden as she is permanently lame due to PSD and she has kissing spines.

The owner kept her for a while and then advertised her as 'free to a good home' in the local paper.
She was picked up one day last week by some pikey looking people, and yesterday someone thought they saw her being ridden down the road

If it was my own horse she would have been PTS, but her old owners love her so much they couldn't bear to have her put down so they gave her away instead

I really hope it wasn't the same horse but she is so distinctive that it really had to be her. Poor girl

I really am so gutted about this. Poor poor horse. All she deserves is a nice field with lots of grass and a bit of TLC from someone that cares.
Its such a shame how she is going to end up.
