Right then! I went to Eland lodge for the unaff ode today as all BE events seem to be on my exam dates up until the 27th June so we went to do the intermediate which was basically the PN course. It was our first event of the season and our times were very relaxing with dr at 4:30 sj at 5:30 at xc at 6:10.

So after a relaxing morning we set off and warmed up for dressage Ed was brilliant and having the xc so close actually really helped him spark up. Anyway we went in and it was all going well up until numpty here forgot the test not once but twice!! This has never happened to me before and I m very ashamed

! Anyways went off to SJ, Ed hates sj warm ups always has, he tenses up and doesn't like horses jumping so close to him. Basically he wouldn't jump when we got in the warm up not even a 1 ft cross pole! So was abit worried espically as I fell off (over the 1ft x pole

) After about 10 mins the warm up cleared out so he relaxed slightly and we managed to jump a few nicely and went in had 3 down but just glad to have got round as it was up to height and we didn't have the best warm up.

On to the xc we set off to the warm up, where he was going brilliantly really flying them then numpty came off the side!!!! so second fall of the day

!! The steward then said I wasn't allowed to go xc as had fallen twice in the day. I said I was fine and the organiser said I could run after about a 20 mins hold. So went xc he was flying and I couldn't stop smiling! He was going a 100% the best his ever gone when suddenly we had huge spook at some specators just before the simplest fence on the course I tried my hardest to push him to go but he just ran into it before sliding left off of it. So que 3rd fall of the day

!!!!!!!!!!! Got back on jumped the fence and carried on for a clear (kind of lol). Luckly neither of us were hurt. I have a scratch on my arm thats it! So after sorting out eddy with hay polos and a wash off. I went to thank the organiser for a great show. And for letting me continue with 3 FALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was very happy to find out I got a 40 dressage which with 2 mistakes was not bad at all! I have decided to stay very postive and just think it wasn't our day and just look forward to milton keynes where we're doing the PN and hope it goes better!

I'll put pics up when they arrive and thanks for reading!
