Bad bad week.
On Tuesday, I was asked by another livery to exercise her horse for the week while she was on holiday. No problem, done it many a time before, no problems what so ever.
Was schooling in the sandschool, and just as I passed the hedge a car exhaust banged, and said horse zoomed in the opposite direction. I dont really remember what happened, but some freak accident, his back legs slid underneath him and i was on the floor with him on top of me.
Woke up in hospital with a broken arm and a couple of ribs to boot. Horse was checked over by a vet and is absolutely fine. Me on the other hand cannot ride for several weeks and am feeling a little blue.
Some things just happen too quickly!
