It's admirable that's she's trying to sort out her horse numbers early on, she's already had several for sale over the past few months . . . . . . . . .

He might be fine but if you are going to see him take someone with you and get him vetted, I'm sure she'll say "he won't pass a vetting because of his eye" but you want to know if anything else is wrong with him.
 
If I was looking with the criteria you said in OP I don't think I would look at this one. He just doesn't look like a confidence giver to me personally, and I'd be worried that if I hacked a lot on roads he may be spooky with only having vision in the 1 eye.
 
I saw that one, liked it to begin with, sounds perfect, but I will never, ever, ever buy from this woman again. The trader may well be fine, but the tel number that it says to phone is of another trader in Kent, who I would not trust again, NEVER EVER!!!!
 
My main criteria is,
a, good weight carrier,
b, suitable for nervous riders so needs to be a confidence giver,
c, unfortunately, no more than 3K.
I am asking alot I know, Weekend job is trawling tack shops etc.
 
 
I like Hermangerman's suggestion. This Kenthorseproducer dealer has some lovely horses. They all look so beautifully produced. They are not cheap - but I reckon you could go there and find a few suitable ones to at least try. All seem to be Irish sport type- my favourite usually very sane and versatile!
 
OP What do you want to do with the horse? If it is mainly hacking and popping a small fence you could do worse than look for an Ardennes *Waits for everyone to shout about drafts!* They have fantastic, unflappable natures, are kind and forgiving and are very good doers. Rarely any health probs, although Fany does get MF, and are very willing to learn. They generally go for around £2500 -£ 2800. Even though they are weight carriers, Fany has over 11 inches of bone, they tend to be max. 16 hh with the mares coming in at around 14-2 to 15-2hh
