had millie vetted which took over 2 hours
i have never felt so sick and nervous in my entire life-which wasnt helped when they turned up with their trailer

we hadnt even discussed anything of the sort due to the fact anything could happen-it really upset me and made me feel quite angry and completely wonder if im doing the right thing-not helped by the vet saying how lovely she is etc temp wise and how she will be hard to replace
but dad had a word with them and said no way is she going today...i mean i havent "prepared" myself for it at all.
anyway they checked her over legs, heart etc
then trotted up..and flexioned,
then rode her on the flat, then took her for a gallop, then checked HR and pusle etc etc.
then let her cool down and checked her right over again...did her eyes etc etc.
then re trotted up and flexion tested
then lunged
then checked over again
then blood tested
tehn given her vaccs as they are soon due!!
vet was lovely v v good!
she passed
basically it was just her splint and a sarcoid which they said leave alone.
i am happy but it hasnt hit me til now and i can feel a really big cry coming on any minute
she is going tommorrow and i really hope the new owner does mean it when she says i can come and see her whenever-even offered riding her
just thought i would let you know.
All i hope is i can now find something nice and special that will fill the gap and wont make me regret selling...although i must keep reminding myself of the reasons why!
