What and how many animals have you brought home with out permission?

A horse! My parents found out when I put a pic of him on Facebook in the field with my mums mare that day!
And before that our dog, I told my mum and dad we had a white rat in our house (we live next door) and they came in to see our puppy :)

a puppy when i was 18....

neighbour's dog had pups.... i picked her at 6 days old and told my mum we were having her.

shes now 6 and the best dog ever :)

i also bought a horse when i was 21 and told my mum on the phone on the way home (bought her out of my student loan

i have another horse now which my dad is utterly clueless about. im 24 FGS, but he still makes me feel guilty about horses even though i pay for them etc.

daft isnt it :D

I really wanted a snake but my other half said no, over his dead body. We now have 6 snakes, 3 bearded dragons, a Bosc monitor lizard and a gecko! Oops! He just tells me to do what I want now lol x

Now let me see................

. too many dogs to count, I always find strays ( most found new homes)
.A rat (kept for life)
.Gold fish (kept for life)
.12 pigeons which i found by the side of the road dumped(found a home)
. Two horses i found (returned to sheepish owner)
.Rabbit (found new home)
.ferret (kept for life)
. Two dutch medical studets (allowed to leave when ready...I think they count)

My lastest dog Skruffy(pictures on profile) I found at a local super market, I told my partner i was going to rehome him.....I never did!!! :))

Ummm a labrador puppy, 6 chickens, 2 cats, a horse and then a companion pony for said horse after he came home from livery! Luckily my OH is very laid back and doesn't go ballistic when he comes home from work (works overseas for months at a time)...altho he does wonder what is going to turn up next!

I started young at school and told my mum a 'friend' at school was adopted, had a terrible life ect ect and was going on his first holiday EVER (I think i was about 12!) and could we look after his two pet mice! Needless to say it was sods law i chose two pretty coloured mice that were male and female  Wasnt long before i confessed but was allowed to keep them ..... ALL

Over the years ive snuck rats, hamsters, gerbils .. the occasional rabbit and reptiles. I'm 34 now and in an 8 yr relationship and i snuck in a carpet python last year and he didnt notice for months but it was only a hatchling :o Oh and leopard geckos as well :o

I was always desperate for more animals as a child. My dad was on his own with me so we just had one dog.
My OH now (24years) has come to accept how many I "need".
We have 7 equines , 2 cats , 3 dogs, 4 pigs, 15 sheep, 3 geese.3 turkeys, 8 chickens, 4 ducks, 1 ferrett

PS dont tell him abut pony no 7 we havent confessed that yet, he thinks that we are just "looking after her "......................

Ahem, loads! As a kid I was forever bringing home stray dogs, ferrets, cats, injured wildlife, etc. I once swapped a pet rabbit for a goldfish! Unfortunately mum found out before the pony/budgie deal completed!

It's worse now since I met hubby cos he's as bad as me!
