I don't really have any issues when warming up for dressage or XC, but SJ is another matter. Hate:
- People who hog the practice fence and their little "helpers" who rush out to put the fence up another 10 holes without glancing to see if anyone else is approaching or wants to jump the original height. And then they walk off and leave it at that horrific height...
- People have lessons in the warm up ring. Seriously people, you're not going to suddenly master everything in 20 mins! It's worrying if you ask me, you should know how to warm your own horse up!
- People whos horses clearly are not enjoying the occasion being ridiculously over-jumped and smacked about. Hint: that's probably why your horse doesn't enjoy it.
- People who get eliminated in the ring and gallop straight back into the warm up booting the horse, yanking it in the mouth and jumping it over and over again.
