i have been looking at the. harmony plus clippers for my very nervous girl. i am aware they are quiet but am wondering if anyone has experience with quieter ones, they do not have to be cordless as i have mains at my yard. thank you and happy christmas!

Mains power or not, nervous horse or not, nowadays I’d always suggest using cordless clippers. It is both much safer and more convenient not having to wrangle around a mains lead. Cordless clippers are much improved these days.

The Liveryman harmony plus are quiet and they will tackle a full clip.

Yes I would like cordless and I find them easier, they should be fine with battery life for her I am just nervous about clipping so it takes me ages!

I have the Heiniger Explorers and the Harmony Plus.
My sensitive boy is perfect with the Harmony Plus Clippers but my Heinigers are too noisy for him. I can easily do a full clip on him with the Harmony Plus - that's on one battery change. He is a Connie X TB so has a medium thick coat. I use my Heinigers on my very fluffy polar bear prue Connie.

For those with the harmony plus.....are the red version different to the silver ones?
I borrowed a friends silver version to see how I got on with them but I didn't like them at all. They were really odd to use anf couldn't get a straight line with them at all!
