What are all the BAREFOOTERS FEEDING?

Dartmoors & Exmoors are the only true native pony in the UK - all the others have been developed over the centuries by the introduction of other breeds.

Dartmoors have had other breeds added to them notably shetland, arab, fell and welsh. Exmoors have been kept free from outside influences though.

Alfalfa oil
General 'pony mix'
Bran
Garlic
She lives out so just grass & hay ontop of that
I also lather generous amounts of keratex on her Hooves to ensure quality stays and keeps her sound. But all my horses have been bare foot, it is only because she is a tb I keratex her feet and add (extra, but not much) bran into her feed for extra precautions. She was barefooted when I brought her and as it doesn't seem to bother her so ill keep her that way :)

Ours are just on 1 scoop dengie lite and 1 scoop quiet cubes, mixed with water, straw available all the tiem and hay at night :) however, they are all natives, one of which lived of the cumbria fells until she was 3! so they are all easily adapted to barefootedness :) never had a problem :) xx

They are both fed Alfa A Molasses Free, Speedibeet and WinningEdge supplement. Snip is on Hay, Rhythm is on Haylage (because R is a growing young lad and Snip has RER!!!)
