Rode in jumping ones for 4 years and loved them too

EDT: I especially liked how soft they were around the knees and the knee rolls always seemed to fit me well.

I have been told recently though that the old makes (which I rode in) promoted quite forward lower leg position.

Depends on the width of your pelvis, Kieffer's tend to have a wide twist and so if you are narrow then you will find them quite painful in the groin area.

Nice saddles but they weigh a tonne!!

Trike has a Keiffer Garmisch which is a GP saddle I think. The seat is large and reasonably comfortable but for the purpose that I use it for (jumping) I just find it isn't forward cut enough and my knees end up riding over the (extremely hard) knee rolls

It fits the horse though and I can't justify replacing it at the moment so i'll stick with it for now.

I'd agree with the comment about being very heavy...and build quality is nothing more than average. I'd describe it as a budget saddle for everyday use and certainly not in the same league as my Stubben

I have a really nice Kieffer Action dressage saddle. Never felt it has a wide twist and I'm pretty small on quite a big horse.

It has a really deep seat and nice big knee blocks. Everything feels heavy when you are 5' and takcing up a 16'3" so can't comment on that, but it's no worse than my Albion jump saddle.

OH has the Ulla Salgeber Rusy Wall Street dressage - very light and designed for the narrower pelvis (he's really skinny) he loves it - I find it restrictive but that may be due to it be 17" and me having a fat backside!

Very comfy to sit in though

I have one (jumping) that I've had 6yrs and I really like it. It is comfortable and I feel safe in it. However I did have another one a few years ago for another horse that I just couldn't ride in at all - even though it was supposedly the same style as my other one. I ended up swapping it for something else.
