What are the chances??

TBxWB mare (Saffy) that came to us on Friday, was in season when she came and had been running with a 3yo Shire stallion for the past 2-3 months, how likely is it that she might be in foal to this stallion?

Have to say we wouldn't mind too much if she is in foal we were planning to put her to Millenium however this may have to be delayed for a bit if she is in foal already!

Will have to get vet to check her out!

Yes doesn't it? Precisely what we thought hence we won't mind if she is in foal!

I just love Shire X's. Cos no matter what you cross them with you can always kinda tell, and they are usually very nice friendly beasties.

Yes

Then year after Saffy will get put to Millenium

, is not looking like i'll get much chance to ride her properly which is a shame as she is lovely to ride!

A friend of mine had 2 ShirexTBs and thinks they're a great cross. The gelding is dopey but loveable, the mare is quite mareish when in season but not nasty. They're both bold, hardy and quite athletic. Let us know if she has caught!
