I'm getting my 15yo niece some jodhpurs/riding tights for her birthday, and would love to know what's currently the in thing with teenagers, so she can fit in at the riding school (or at least stand out in a good way!)

She opted for a Shires Aubrion hat silk, when given the choice of the entire shop, so I'm leaning towards that.

If you are going to buy the Aubrion winter riding tights, they come up VERY small. I'm an 8/10, and even the Mediums were too small. Given how sensitive young women can be about their size, probably best avoided.

When i was at a yard with teenagers they all seemed to wear a lot of Aztec Diamond but this was a few years ago so may have moved on now

Cameo do some nice riding tights and base layers. Aubrion is is quite popular too although I’m not in to their colours this season. Le Mieux always a big hit but then maybe not if she’s not so keen. Can’t really think what else, Ariat and Pikeur probably quite expensive. Harry Hall had some nice riding tights last year.

Yup. Blue bucked me off two months back, and I had a bad landing. On the bright side, everything still works and it's just a matter of time until I'm back to normal.

Aztec Diamond and Mochara! They are very popular, especially if she’s not keen on Le Mieux. Aztec diamond also comes up a bit small in our experience x

The latest Aztec diamond stuff is very thin expensive and see through. Ariat is much nicer.

My daughter’s favourite brand of riding tights is Blackfort equestrian - they have the added plus of being relatively good value too. If splurging she goes for Pikeur .
