my pony has intemitant lameness for a couple of monthes now, vet says maybe suspensory ligament damage, however, over the last couple of days i have noticed on the insides of her tendons on both fronts she has what looks like boney lines! they are slightly raised about 3 inches long and about 1/4 inch wide! they are not scabs and are under her hair.

any ideas??

i dont think there splints salimali, as they are just under the surface if you know what i mean whereas splints are inside arent they? i'm confused(doesn't take much!) i'm think its one for the vet...again! aaarrhhhhhh!

well, splints are under the skin and gradually grow, during this procees they cause pain but once they have come out all should be ok.(bit like wisdom teeth!!) i'm not saying it is this but could be? a vet's diagnosis is best i reckon.

will do salimali, thanks for your advice
