What are those breathing strips for horses noses?

Ive seen lots about recently especially on horses competing at XC. Some one said they aid the horses breathing but im not even sure where to start looking or what there called.

Can anyone help me?

My wifes mare uses them. She snorts a lot XC and is prone to nose bleeds, these strips help prevent (and you are talking to Mr Cynical here - they do seem to work!)
