I woke up 30 minutes late and then my bus didn't show up, so I have called in and said exactly that (with some small alterations of course..) ;)

So now I have no choice but to go to the stables (what a shame) and then lounge around and enjoy a day off.

You?

I've turned out and mucked out and now Im getting ready to go dog training, will be there for 4 hours. And then ill get the horses in and chill out reading my book :)

We're hosting a pony club clear round. Poles on the floor to 2'3 max (the bigger clear round is next week..) Prizes for the sparkliest christmas costume - the works.

So - 5 minutes peace just now - then up to the yard to design courses, heat warming drinks, co-erce ponies into tinsel etc etc.

Followed by 3 hours of chaos, probably a couple of fallers. A few tears. A lot of good photos and Christmas cheer.

Followed by at least an hour in the cold and dark setting down becuase none of my helpers stayed....

Today is Sunday?

That's the trouble with never having a day off, every day is Groundhog day, only the weather (-4C and raining) and the dramatics vary. :D

Got to bed at 2.30 after works night out. Up at 7, 8 horses tucked out and turned out. Ridden one. Now having cuppa. Then off to supermarket. Oh, and I did have a skinful but no-one else to do them so hey ho.

I will be riding Murphy and should really, really, REALLY attempt to spruce Freddie up a little..I think he's grown to quite like his wild boy-ish look!

Drinking tea and reading. I'm still in my pyjamas and have just poked myself in the eye with a mascara brush. Thinking about going to the stables soon before it gets dark. A proper lazy Sunday :)

Spent the morning poo picking the field (great) and generally getting hailed on!! Now iv just been shopping and on my way to sort the ponies for the evening and get home in good time for my roast!!!!!!!

Was at yard for 0900, attempted to de mud the mare .. got told by her I could but only on the pain of death ... so rugged her and turned her out and skipped out, changed water etc

Went to a feed store to buy some haynets and buckets .... not paying that for a bucket so left quickly

Ate a bit of lunch and then ive just woken up from a little nap :p

Paid for a very lovely heavy weight T/O rug from fleabay and now going back to yard to chat, take pics of new but muddy horse and get ready to bring in about 1630!
Happy Sunday all :D

And just to rub it in im off tomorrow as well :p

Got up a bit too early after last night's hunt do, made a roast lamb lunch, took dogs, foal and teenagers out for a little walk, got home just before it pee'd down. Feeling a bit smug! Except I still have 3 fields to poo pick, 3 horses to feed, and I have to chose my moment as it is raining hard and there are no lights at the yard!

Lovely hack out this morning in the sun, home to wrap all my christmas presents. Clean the house as the landlord is visiting tommorow. Just done my christmas shop online so though I'd pop into HHO whilst the lap top is on :) also have a stinking cold :(

Hacked at 10am with a friend then cleaned tack. Came home, went out for lunch with my Mum, just come back from walking the dogs, then I have to clean out the guinea pigs before sitting down with some coffee cake and a movie.

Lovely hack out this morn even though it was wild windy and lashing! Four yr old was excellent even with a "fresh sea breeze" on his newly clipped bum! Then came home continued unpacking in my new house and been chilled on sofa watching the racing all afternoon! Off out for dinner tonight...lovely relaxing Sunday!

Riding as the sun rose, then walked the dog through the wood, and have spent the rest of the day reading. Lazy sunday at its finest!

took my dog to his first ever agility show, got eliminated in all 3 classes, came home and now watching red dwarf on the sofa. however the floor does need washing now, the dog came back filthy and ran round the house like a loon so need to wash the whole of the downstairs!

Yet more housework this morning then up at lunchtime to walk my dogs and ride. Friend was massively late so has a big clean up and sort out of rugs. Friends horse incredibly fresh and his new trick is bucking and every time he threw a wobbly, my youngster decided to copy him. Least middle dog had a really good run as came out with us! We are going on a beach ride tomorrow for a friends birthday leaving at 6.30 ( gulp) so hope mine decides to behave tomorrow!

I've spent the weekend showing at the Federation poultry show in Stafford. Home now, a quick change of clothes and off to spend some time with my ponies :)
