What are you feeding your ponies....!

My cob gets a token single handful of hifi lite to keep him happy while my TB has warm soaked Readymash Extra and Mollichop Show Chaff. No hay unless there is a covering of snow - they wouldn't eat it because my grazing is too good. Cobbys fatty paddock has been almost ready for a few weeks (was waiting on getting my leccy fence energiser back from a friend) so he will be paddocked from this weekend.

It's not easy when you have such different types.

Handful of chaff for supplements and if it snows or freezes, they get half a wet scoop of speedibeet. That's once a day. Hardly any hay at the moment.

Nothing, except a bale of hay between them when there's snow on the ground.

Two didn't bother to come over last week - 6" of snow - turned out they were too busy eating some fresh bramble shoots they'd found.

Mostly this time of year they're in the river eating the pond weed. I can tell because their faces are all wet. They're all as fat as piggies and furry as bears, so I figure they're OK.

No feeds. One loves her rock salt. The rest get snacky foods. Carrots, nettles, sticky etc depending on season. But no actual feeds or apples.
Currently have round bales out in the field, they toddle over once or twice a day but don't stay eating and doubt will be putting out for much longer. Had contistant grass but like the option over winter and they don't pig. Nothing in summer.
