What are you getting the farrier this year?

I gave him a lovely box of biccies as he's always willing when I offer him one (iykwim)! He text me to say he was having them with his lunch this week so I think he's happy with them. Last year I gave him some Penderyn whisky, which is a local Welsh whiskey. I figured that, as I don't know if he drinks, biscuits were a safer option this year.

He comes up and shoes the horse even if I can't get the time off, although I always try to, so I figured I should at least make the gesture. I also gave him a card thanking him for his help.

I give mine a bottle of Bells (normal size, not a litre) and 4 cans of beer and 4 cans of cider for the apprentices.
