Last night I was so proud of the big grey boy who took care of me and my companion and her horse when we got a bit lost on a new hack. He just kept his head and made sure we were all safe, he told me clearly when the path was not suitable but never faltered when I had to quickly dash us across a very busy road. I was a little worried, my companion was young and I could see her horse was leaning on mine. He held us all together.
I was also very proud of myself when I galloped across the moor on my bay girl. Until now I've not dared go up the gears but I listened to my pony tonight and even though she was RARing to go she waited for me and only went flat out when I asked. She was a star and I felt on a total high!!!
I've always described myself as a novice with competency but not confidence but these two are definately changing all that !!
