What are you waiting impatiently for?

To get on my new horse for the first time (yes, ever!) - don't normally buy a horse without trying it first but this was a rescue from being PTS job (for no reason)! So took a risk on him. Am planning to BSJA him all winter. Have a lesson with Geoff Billington booked for 3 weeks time so I need to get going riding-wise but saddle fitting isn't until Tuesday :(

Ooh we need more info on this MM sounds intriguing! :)

For Monday! When I can change the bandages on my mares legs and view the (hopefully) amazing progress she is making to get better!

For my train to arrive at Leicester station :) so I can go and pick up my new Horsebox.

Also someone who often feels like I'm waiting for 'something' to happen iny life....

November, when my pony will be backed.

And then summer, when it will stop being cold and dark, and I'll have three to ride and compete. :D

Huge list.!
To be able to canter my boy without him bucking so much I come off,
My new Charles Owen hat to arrive
picking up new pony in 2 weeks time,
My huge party next weekend with all friends and family
Next trip to Africa where my husband works and seeing all my friends over there.
Additional new stables to be built next spring.
Schooling area to be levelled and lights put up so I can at least do something over winter.
Always have to have plenty to look forward to, it's what keeps me going.

My new yard to be finished ! Had to demolish the old one to put the new one up , so the horses are all out full time , and the wimp is frankly unimpressed . Am currently looking out of my bedroom window at the half finished yard , and its going to be beautiful . Five long years of constant mud , clay and , we discovered a blocked soakaway we'd been wading through , all gone for good . It'll be finished by Friday , painting all weekend , electrician in on Monday , then we're in .

Can't wait ! Am now arguing over colour schemes with the husband though ! :D

To finish my job and start freelancing :) only doing 21 hours a week at first when I start that and will be on 4 times what I am now for 60 hours a week! Whoop whoop, 11 days to go :D

Christmassss!

Always, always this :D

Having the pony clipped (not looking forward to the actual clipping though!), possibly going xc schooling with dafthoss again and going exploring properly from my new yard with a map and an equally lost buddy (tomorrow if I'm lucky!).

Non-horsey I'm looking forward to the day when I can officially walk away from the mess of PhD for good (hopefully by submission / viva completion) and the prospect of an epic trip to Mongolia next year with some Scouts.

For it to be cold enough my mare needs rugging in the day, so I can full clip without feeling guilty that she can't have the freedom of rolling rug free all day.
For after xmas when I can afford to take daughter to her first proper hunt, rather than a children's meet. (no box so have to factor in transport costs).
For boyfriend to finish helping his parents with their house & garden. Both older so although he's not exactly Mr home improvement he's been round doing the heavy stuff, so only seen him for the odd hour or so for nearly a week. I'm not at all jealous, in fact I love that he's that type of man, but doesn't stop me missing him.

Another one for Christmas! I've already started on the chocolate coins ;) Also to get back riding somehow, and for heaps of snow!

For my chest infection to clear up :( Fed up of having a hacking great dirty grandad cough!!!! and I want to riiiide!!! or even be able to walk up the field to see him without the risk of spitting up a lung :o

Other than that errm payday ;) as I am for 28 days of each month!

Waiting to find the right horse! Still no luck, but now moving house for work so can't wait for the moving to be over and done with so I can concentrate in horse hunting! Also not long til I finish my training for work! :)

Small scale: waiting for my broken finger to heal. It's painful and bloomin' awkward!

Large scale: waiting to be sent the accounts of the business OH and I want to buy, to see if it's a goer! :) It will mean an exciting lifestyle change and a move to the opposite side of the country!

For headcollar to arrive.
Ordered one with a nameplate and it *should* fit pony its bought for, so try it on other pony to see if need another one same size or smaller :D

For YHL next month but before then a day sorted to go view potential new horse. Then guess if like her will be for her to arrive then YHL to buy stuff for her :)
