If you like stuff based on real events then super pumped and dopesick are really good.
Thank you, I will have a nosey. Dopesick sounds good, just read a review. Particuarly as on my request I'm on a tapered dose for dependency of Gabapentin. And Cocodamol.

Shoved on them 12 years ago now and just 'abandoned'.

UPDATE not available on netflix ☹

Anyone else watch The Rings of Power?

First episode was a bit slow due to introducing all the different races and characters, but I think it has potential.

Certainly looks as good as the LOTR films.

I watched the first episode last night & will probably watch second one today at some point. Visually stunning as you'd expect with amount of money they've chucked at it but don't think the music is quite as good as the films. Have found the elves & men a bit meh so far (kinda feel like it would have worked better if they'd created a new character for the elf warrior rather than using Galadriel as just made both the snow troll scene & the one on the boat feel like they had no stakes whatsoever as obviously we knew she'd live & we knew she wouldn't be completing the boat journey so just felt a bit pointless tbh) & the dialogue is a bit cringe. Found the pre-Hobbits (I'm sure someone will correct me with their proper name in a moment) the most interesting part of the episode although I'm sure there will be people who found them as dull as I'm currently finding the elves!

Loving Giri Haji so different. On Netflix. Also enjoyed the queens gambit may have finished now. Also Netflix. Great to see what people are watching. I struggle with American dramas. Find them cheesy! So when we can we seek out British stuff. Heartland the exception of course but watch that alone! I’m currently rewatching ER. Still good! Also tried to watch Bodies again but so hard core! Very very dark.

I found Galadriel and Elrond really grew on me in the second episode. I think I'm starting to see them as their characters rather than just remember Cate Blanchett and Hugo Weaving's interpretations. I'm currently most invested in Galadriel's storyline and very excited to see where it is going! I'm not keen on the Arondir/ Bronwyn will-they-won't-they vibe and that's currently my least favourite storyline.

Just watched latest HOTD... Still not watched ep 2 of Rings of Power but despite the smaller budget & less grand scale am enjoying all the backstabbing, gruesomeness & erm also dragons burning stuff far more & it's coming out on top for me atm.

An absolutely brilliant show on Amazon prime was "Alice in Borderlands"

It blew Squid game out of the water for me, the threat felt so real, and there was a moment in either episode 8 or 9 can't remember which that gave me goosebumps and an omg moment shows haven't given me since line of duty and "urgent exit required"

OH much preferred Squid game but for me AIB was way way more gripping

Disappointed in Horsepower on Prime. Too much fluff when I really wanted to know the ins and outs of how they train the horses, feed them, manage them, what does he do differently or is it purely down to numbers, breeding and turnover?
Cant remember which yard it is warms up in the circular trotting ring, runs on the gallops, walks the horses back through long knee deep water channels to cool the legs, then swims them in the pool! I wanted to know if this was standard or unusual practice now.
Running on medications in US could have been explored more. How do the rules apply to foreign runners? Could US horses be brought up on steriods and bute, osphos and neurectomies, have a withdrawal period and run in the UK?
So many issues which could have been explored....
