Long time since I've been in here

So Charisma has had a couple of weeks off, her owner has ridden her once or twice but she has had it very easy. Rode her yesterday for the first time since last Sunday, and I can't believe how fat she has got in a week!

She has ballooned! She is not obese, she is a lithe tb and it's good that she has some weight on her now that we are coming into Winter. Anyway rode her out both yesterday and today and she is quite unfit

so I have a job on my hands, one which I am relishing already!

What are your plans for your horses over Winter? Now C has had some down time I am looking forward to getting in the school and out to some indoor dressage and improve our %s, as we were improving all the time

I am looking to take her hunting too! We'll probably only manage to get out once, but I have never been and always wanted to go, and C has never been either! So that should be interesting

I also want to fit a trip to the beach in at some point too, seeing as it is only down the road

Well I've had a horse free summer!! Been hunter trailing today - so much fun!!

It's really nice doing easy things!!

I'm not sure what my plans are - start riding my horse again would be a start!! Will probably do a bit of hunting.

You will love it!

It's weird not riding for a couple of weeks let alone a whole summer!

I'm really looking forward to going SB, if a little anxious but I'm sure it will be fine what's the worse that can happen haha

Have you got someone who you can go with? It's always a bit scary taking a horse for their first time and trust me, it can be very scary!! It's only the odd horse that looses the plot but it's best to be with someone just in case.

I think I've ridden twice since about April!
