One of my bad habits just bit me in the bum this morning. I've always led both my horses (individually) to the back of the stable without turning round to shut the door, and taken their headcollar off there. They will normally turn round and head straight for the hay, so I saunter back and close the door. This morning my Oldenburg span round and legged it out of the door! Luckily she went over to another stable to say hello to a gelding she can see from her stable but has never met, and I got the headcollar back on her. Whoops! Lesson learned.
