What bedding do you use and how much a bale?

Shavings unbranded £7.50 a bale an using two bales a week and that's with a corner bed not a full bed

Woodchip (like easibed) £3 per bale, I collect 8 each time. My dirty welsh cb ha s2x per week, my other 2 have 1 per week. Full muck out each day.
I am really impressed with the bedding, i have tried my messy lad on cardboard / shavings / chopped staw and wood pellets, none of them worked as well as the woodchip.
If i want to fluff the beds up a bit I mix a bag of shavings into the bed £5.50 a bale from the same supplier.

chopped very good clean wheat straw, £14 per large 4ft round bale. use about 1 barrow load per day as horse eats it too so far since november I am halfway through my second round bale.

Straw, 10ft bale £25, don't have ponies\horses in every night so can't really say how much i use per week as it changes depending on weather!

Straw at £2 a bale. Use a couple a week and have a nice deep bed.
