What Bit can you use for Working Hunter Classes

is there a list of certain bits you are allowed to use in working hunter classes ?

I am a "BIT" (excuse the pun) confused as some people telling me that you have to use a double bridle (or a pelham with double reins)

you do not have to use a double bridle or pelham, but it does look better in the show ring. For working hunter classes you can use any tack required, including martingles and boots, but take the boots off before you do the showing section. Tack must not be changed before going in to the showing section.

I was just having a conversation with a friend and I thought you could use any bit but wasnt 100% sure,
thought I would ask on here
her horse is not really a lover of a pelham so she didnt particularly want to use one
