Hard to tell, but looks like it *could* be on back to front ... looks to be angled ever so slightly away from the camera?

if your bridle buckles or billets? if it's billets then think bit is on back to front.

The middle bit is slightly curved so im sure it the right way??? Otherwise the curve will be laying on the tounge the wrong way??
