Sorry theres probably lots of these posted of a simmilar nature .....
My horse is currently in a gag,
however im not keen on it, mainly beacuse he puts his head up and obviously the lifting effect of a gag is not right for that, allthough he will drop his head and go onto the bit very easily if asked, the gag effects this negativley and is kinda contracdictory, i also feel its a bit severe.
However he is in a flash noseband, this I am happy with since he does like to open his mouth and bomb ! Allthough i would be okay with a grackle equally.
So, I would like to keep this noseband, well ideally go into a grackle because they are supposed to be more comfortable.
So what bit could I try him in that could avoid the lifting action and still work with a flash or grackle noseband?
