What bit would you reccomend?

What bit would you recommend for a young, green and quite strong cob?
Im currently riding her in a dutch gag but we are both really not getting on with it.
I would like something quite gentle for her. She can be very strong especially out on hacks.
Im awful with bitting, so advice would be really appreciated. thanks

Best starting point would be the shape and confo of her mouth - if you aren't sure and aren't happy having a look yourself then your dentist should be able to give you an idea - size of tongue and bars as well as height of palate are a good place to start.
