Do you lot all ride you horses in, i know there is lots of opinions on all different kinds of bits and was just wondering which you use and proberly why you use this type of bit?
He, he something else I'm doing wrong - a continental. He goes very well in it. I tried a few different ones because he didn't come with any tack but this is definitely the best one I've found for him.
No sorry I have no idea how to put one on here even if i did have .....
It is a straight bar that bends round at the ends....hmm not a good explanation.... ahh, it looks like a straight anhled C and it can have 2 reins or roundings. Did that explain it
A loose ring lozenge. Soon to be a Neue Schule tranz link loose ring. She came to me in that, and goes perfectly well, so no point fixing it 'cos it 'aint broken! Although she does go a bit better in a KK, so I thought as I needed a new bit (two bridles now) that I'd get her a 'nicer', more expensive one and get the NS. Plus I can't find a cheap lozenge one!
KK Ultra snaffle.... tried a happy mouth with a roller and he chewed through it... then tried a sweet iron French link, and he went OK but wasn't keen, so tried my OH's horse's KK and he loves it, so ended up buying him one of his very own!!
Hacking - Loose ring french link
Show jumping/field work - Waterford Hanging Cheek
Hunting/Cross Country - Pelham
Spare bits - 2 dutch gags and eggburt snaffle. I use these when I feel like a small change for a few weeks.
