What boots do you use for protection for xc

Ive started doing jump cross and need recommendation for boots as there are so many to choose from.
Shes petite tbx and sometimes brushes the hind inside around fetlock area.

I just use brushing boots but my horse does not brush or over reach so i use them just to protect her legs if she brushed the fence, she would no way put up with anything else

for xc i use my new equine fleecey lined xc ones

work a treat on the tb, but on my lad depending on conditions he either has a full set of leather boots( given to me by my mother

who had them made specially for her in her younger days

) or a pair of woof wear pro tendons on ...
sounds like your mare might just need a pair of tendons/fetlocks? just so she can still feel if she touches a fence as in sj but has a bit of protection from brushing etc?

I used brushing boots and always school and hack in them but thought I should give her some extra protection.She doesnt knock jumps very often maybe a good pair of brushing boots is adequate

We use the Dalmar boots. They are light, have carbon strike pads and are quick to put on and take off. We have got some leather hind boots which are great,but not when the horse is excited and dancing about.

Tri Zone Cross Country boots all round

. Air vented and comparatively cool. Good protection all round. Easy to clean. Easy to put on.

Flipping expensive though! And, when Dizz scatted sideways, she managed to pull one of the top flaps off

. They're going back to be inspected. It's a pity as I really liked them

Premier Equine have good event boots and if you don't mind some with tiny pink air vents on you can get them for £16 off their sale bit on their website

Prolite tendon boots in front and either normal Woof brushing boots behind or prolite hinds.

I just got the PE ones and permanent marked over the pink bits!

Before that I used WW pro tendon boots and fetlock boots, but they make her legs sweaty, so I switched to air vents- claredons do look gorgeous, but they are expensive and I've found they really heat up the tendons (maybe not for everyone!)
I was always suggested PE air vents or NEW air cooled
