Hey!
Oscar is rising two and I want to buy him his first set of boots. We lead out in-hand between 1-3 times a week so I just want some support for his legs when doing road work. He isn't stumbly but ocasionally will jump slightly (not more than half a foot, usually toward the safety of his mummy
) and I am scared he will catch one hoof on the opposite leg! We will soon be doing some spook training and long reining and I would be happier if his legs were protected!
I have looked at all sorts of boot particularly like the equilibrium allsport boots as they are very lightweight and breathable. Has anyone got these/had them and do you have any comments good or bad? Before i spend £80 on two pairs lol
He would be ok with just plain brushing boots however I feel they sometimes make the legs sweaty and fear if over heated tendons are put under more stress? Correct me if i'm wrong?
Any other recommendations appreciated
